Football Coach

ROLE PURPOSE The Football Coach is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating structured football training programs that develop student athletes' technical proficiency, tactical understanding, and competitive readiness within the co-curricular sports framework. This position directly contributes to student learning outcomes through progressive skill development, match performance metrics, and comprehensive athlete management aligned to institutional standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and implement 12-week rolling training schedules with measurable skill objectives and documented progression frameworks
- Conduct pre-season fitness assessments and technical skill evaluations for all squad members with recorded baseline data
- Deliver 3-4 weekly training sessions with progressive drill complexity, technique-focused exercises, and tactical formation instruction appropriate to student age groups
- Manage squad selection and player rotation decisions based on performance data, attendance records, and skill assessments
- Coordinate inter-school fixtures, friendly matches, and tournament participation with external institutions and district bodies
- Maintain comprehensive player injury logs, incident reports, and safety protocols with zero tolerance for safety violations
- Conduct monthly parent communication sessions documenting individual player development trajectories, progress metrics, and co-curricular participation records
- Monitor and assess student discipline, conduct, and behavioral expectations during all training and match environments
- Prepare and maintain training session plans, match analysis reports, and player performance documentation




- Ensure compliance with school sports policies, CBSE co-curricular guidelines, and duty of care responsibilities

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

- Measurable improvement in student player technical competency (ball control, passing accuracy, positional awareness) tracked through formal skill assessments each academic term
- Documented training session delivery with session plans covering technique-focused drills and tactical formations aligned to age-appropriate progression
- Competitive match readiness demonstrated through inter-school fixture performance, win-loss records, and tournament participation outcomes
- Sustained parent engagement with minimum monthly documented feedback cycles on player development and safety protocols
- Zero safety incidents during training and match environments with complete incident documentation and preventive measures
- Player attendance and retention rates in squad with minimum 80% participation consistency
- Student disciplinary records maintenance with documented behavioral feedback and corrective actions

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Minimum: Bachelor's degree or equivalent with formal certification in Sports Science, Physical Education, or Football Coaching

Preferred: Advanced coaching certification from recognized football bodies (AIFF Level 1 or equivalent); Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed)

Min Experience: 2 years of structured football coaching experience at school or academy level yrs

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
