Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Food Server role located in Haryana, India.

The Food

Server will ensure a welcoming, safe, and respectful dining experience for residents by serving meals, snacks, and beverages in accordance with dietary requirements and service standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting up and clearing dining areas, accurately taking and delivering meal orders, and assisting residents who need support with meals.

Server will collaborate with kitchen and care teams to coordinate meal times, report any dietary or safety concerns, and maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all food service areas. The role also involves following food safety guidelines, maintaining inventory of service items, and contributing to a calm, courteous atmosphere that reflects Harrington’s values.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact respectfully and clearly with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Candidates should possess practical skills in food & beverage handling and food service, including safe serving practices and dining room setup.
- Candidates should possess basic cooking or kitchen assistance skills, with an understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
- Previous experience in hospitality, care homes, or healthcare food service is beneficial.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, follow hygiene protocols, and work flexible shifts as required.
- Commitment to dignity, respect, and safeguarding in a care home environment.
- Basic education and proficiency in local language(s) and English are an advantage.
