Role Description The Food and Beverage Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune, overseeing F&B; operations across StayBird’s in-house dining outlets and banqueting spaces. This role includes managing daily restaurant and banquet service, coordinating menus and offerings with culinary teams, and ensuring consistent food quality, hygiene, and presentation standards.

The Food and Beverage Manager will supervise and schedule staff, lead pre-service briefings, monitor guest feedback, and resolve service issues promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction.





Responsibilities also include managing inventory and procurement for F&B;, tracking budgets and costs, optimizing revenue through menu engineering and promotions, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The role involves training and developing team members, implementing operating procedures, and collaborating with sales and events teams to deliver seamless corporate and social functions.

Qualifications

- Solid Food Service and Food & Beverage operations skills, with experience managing restaurants, cafés, or banquet outlets.
- Proven Customer Service capabilities, including handling guest feedback, service recovery, and maintaining high satisfaction scores.
- Experience in staff Training and development, including onboarding, coaching, and performance management of F&B; team members.
- Demonstrated Budgeting and cost-control skills, including inventory management, vendor coordination, and revenue optimization.
- Prior experience as an F&B; Manager, Outlet Manager, or equivalent leadership role in hotels or hospitality environments.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and regulatory compliance relevant to hospitality operations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-centric setting.
- Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
