Role Description The Food and Beverage Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based at Roastery Coffee House in Hyderabad. This role involves preparing and serving food and beverages according to café standards, maintaining cleanliness in service and preparation areas, and ensuring items are presented consistently. The assistant will welcome guests, take orders, answer questions about menu items, and provide attentive, friendly customer service throughout the visit.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the kitchen and barista team, replenishing stock, following food safety and hygiene procedures, and supporting daily opening and closing tasks.



The role also requires handling basic point-of-sale operations and working collaboratively to maintain a warm, efficient café workplace.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Food Preparation and Food & Beverage handling, with an understanding of basic food safety and hygiene standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in Food Service, including order taking, serving, and table clearing in a café or restaurant setting.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, with a focus on creating a welcoming, inclusive, and positive guest experience.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear verbal communication and active listening in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment is preferred; knowledge of coffee or specialty beverages is an advantage.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, handle busy service times, and work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to working with diverse team members and guests.
