Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Floor Supervisor to manage and supervise daily manufacturing activities for Gold & Silver Jewellery. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, worker allocation, workflow monitoring, quality control, material movement and timely completion of production targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Floor Management

- Supervise day-to-day Gold & Silver jewellery manufacturing activities.
- Allocate work to karigars/workers according to skill and production requirements.
- Monitor production from design/CAD to final finishing.
- Ensure smooth movement of jobs between different production stages.
- Maintain proper discipline and workflow on the production floor.

2. Gold & Silver Handling

- Handle and monitor Gold & Silver jewellery production work.
- Maintain proper control of issued and received material.
- Verify material/job quantity at each production stage.
- Coordinate with stores and production teams for material requirements.
- Ensure proper handover of jewellery and material between departments.

3. Production Monitoring

- Track daily production targets and actual output.
- Follow up on pending and urgent orders.
- Identify production delays and take corrective action.
- Ensure jobs are completed within the required timelines.
- Maintain daily production reports.

4. Quality Control

- Monitor workmanship and finishing quality.
- Check jewellery at different stages to minimize defects and rework.




- Coordinate with QC and Production Manager regarding quality issues.
- Ensure proper finishing of Gold & Silver jewellery before dispatch to the next process.

5. Team Management

- Manage and coordinate karigars, workers and production staff.
- Monitor attendance, productivity and work allocation.
- Guide workers regarding production requirements and quality standards.
- Resolve routine floor-level issues and escalate major issues to management.

6. Coordination

- Coordinate with Production Manager, QC, Stores, CAD/Design, Polish, Setting and Sales/PPC teams.
- Ensure production priorities are communicated properly to workers.
- Provide regular updates regarding production status and pending jobs.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Gold & Silver jewellery manufacturing processes.
- Experience handling production-floor teams and karigars.
- Good knowledge of jewellery production workflow.
- Ability to monitor quality, productivity and material movement.
- Good understanding of Gold/Silver jewellery handling and accountability.
- Robust communication and team-management skills.
- Basic knowledge of production reporting and Excel will be preferred.
- Ability to work under production targets and deadlines.
