Industry Preference: Candidates with Granite / Stone Industry experience preferred

ROLE SUMMARY

We are looking for skilled and motivated Fitters to join our Maintenance team. The selected candidates will be responsible for mechanical maintenance, equipment assembly, breakdown support, fabrication-related activities and preventive maintenance of plant machinery and utility equipment.

The role is suitable for candidates who have practical knowledge of fitting, welding, gas cutting, bearings, gear components, lubrication and mechanical assembly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Carry out mechanical fitting, assembly and dismantling of machinery and equipment.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance.
- Handle welding and gas cutting work as required for maintenance activities.
- Install, remove and maintain bearings, shafts, gears, couplings and other mechanical components.
- Identify and replace worn or damaged gear parts and mechanical components.
- Use common assembly and fitting tools safely and effectively.
- Check and maintain proper lubrication of machines, bearings, gearboxes and moving parts.
- Assist in alignment, adjustment and installation of mechanical equipment.




- Support maintenance activities related to ETP and STP equipment.
- Attend equipment breakdowns and assist in restoring machinery to normal operation.
- Follow preventive maintenance schedules and report abnormal machine conditions.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure tools and equipment are kept in good condition.
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements and company maintenance standards.
- Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisors and other departments for smooth plant operations.

- Shafts, Couplings & Mechanical Components
- Lubricants & Lubrication Practices
- Hand Tools & Assembly Tools
- Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance
- Basic Mechanical Troubleshooting
- ETP / STP Mechanical Equipment
- Basic machine alignment and adjustment

CANDIDATE PROFILE

- ITI qualification in Fitter / Mechanical Trade.
- 10th / Matriculation qualification preferred.
- Freshers can apply; experienced candidates will be preferred based on skill.
- Experience in Granite / Stone Industry will be an added advantage.




- Candidates should have good practical mechanical skills and a willingness to work in a plant environment.
- Should be physically fit and comfortable working with maintenance tools and equipment.
- Must demonstrate a strong safety-conscious and disciplined approach.
- Ability to work as part of a maintenance team.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Preference may be given to candidates having experience in:

Granite / Stone Industry | Manufacturing | Heavy Machinery | Mechanical Maintenance | Plant Maintenance | Fabrication | Industrial Equipment

SAFETY & WORK DISCIPLINE

- Strictly follow company safety rules and PPE requirements.
- Follow safe practices while performing welding and gas-cutting activities.
- Maintain proper housekeeping around the maintenance work area.
- Use tools and equipment only for their intended purpose.
- Immediately report unsafe conditions, equipment abnormalities and breakdown risks to the supervisor.
