Company Description SkyVector Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is a fast-growing engineering company based in Hyderabad, India, specializing in Advanced Electronics, Aerospace, Defence, and Electronic Warfare (EW) systems.
The organization designs and delivers cutting-edge solutions for defence and aerospace programs, with a strong focus on indigenous product development. Teams at SkyVector work across embedded systems, firmware, PCB design, and mission-critical electronic systems, contributing to high-impact technologies. The company is driven by precision, quality, and a passion for solving complex engineering challenges.
SkyVector is actively expanding its team and offers opportunities to work on technologies that have real-world significance.
Role Description
Why Join Us
- Work on real, mission-critical hardware for defence and aerospace platforms — not simulations or academic exercises
- We're a fast-growing company — compensation grows quickly with demonstrated performance, not just tenure
- Direct exposure to indigenous product development in a high-technology setting
- Collaborative, hands-on team
Compensation As a startup, we're not able to match big-company salaries right now — but we're growing fast, and early team members get real ownership over what they build, faster growth in responsibility, and compensation that scales quickly with performance rather than waiting on annual cycles.
This is an embedded firmware role, not a general software-development role. You should be someone who has written and debugged firmware close to real hardware — not application, web, or backend software. If your background is in general application development, web development, or data/IT roles with no embedded or microcontroller work, please do not apply.
This posting is exclusively for embedded firmware engineers with a defence/aerospace-relevant background (ECE, EEE, or Embedded Systems).
Minimum Qualifications
- B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech — ECE, EEE, or Embedded Systems with CGPA 7.5+ (or equivalent) — applications below this will not be considered
- 2+ years of hands-on embedded firmware experience (real, shipped firmware on physical hardware — not coursework or simulation-only projects)
What You'll Be Doing
- Embedded firmware development in C/C++ for ARM Cortex, STM32, TI, and NXP microcontroller platforms
- RTOS-based and bare-metal application development for real-time embedded systems
- Implementing and debugging communication interfaces — UART, SPI, I²C, CAN, and Ethernet
- Bootloader development and firmware debugging at the hardware-software boundary
- Embedded system testing — unit-level, integration, and hardware-in-the-loop
- Version control (Git) for firmware codebases across development teams
- Working with mission-critical or rugged embedded systems for defence/aerospace end-use
You Must Have Hands-On Experience With
- Embedded C/C++ on ARM Cortex, STM32, TI, or NXP microcontrollers
- RTOS and at least two of: UART, SPI, I²C, CAN, Ethernet
- Defence, aerospace, or other mission-critical/rugged embedded systems environment — strongly preferred
