- Safety / MEP Projects About the Role We are looking for a responsible and technically competent Fire &
- Safety Supervisor to supervise fire fighting and fire alarm installation activities at project sites and ensure that all work is executed safely, correctly, and as per approved drawings, BOQ, applicable standards, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities 1. Site Supervision - Supervise day-to-day installation of Fire Hydrant, Sprinkler, Fire Alarm, Fire Pump Room and other fire protection systems.

- Monitor technicians, fitters, welders, helpers and subcontractors.
- Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, BOQ and site requirements.
- Coordinate with the site engineer, client, consultant and other agencies.
- Check material received at site against approved BOQ/specifications. 2.

Fire Fighting

Installation - Supervise installation of:
- Fire hydrant and sprinkler piping - Valves, hydrants and accessories - Fire pumps and pump room equipment - Sprinkler heads - Fire extinguishers - Fire hose reels and landing valves - Fire alarm devices and cabling - Fire doors and other fire protection equipment - Check pipe routing, supports, sleeves, joints, levels and installation quality.
- Testing &
- Commissioning - Coordinate and supervise:




- Hydrostatic pressure testing - Flushing of fire fighting pipelines - Pump testing - Sprinkler/hydrant system testing - Fire alarm testing - Cause & effect testing - Final inspection and commissioning - Maintain testing and inspection records. 4.

Safety

Responsibilities - Ensure protected working practices at the project site.
- Conduct/participate in toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Ensure use of PPE by all workers.
- Monitor hot work, welding, cutting, work at height and other high-risk activities.
- Report unsafe conditions, incidents and near misses immediately.
- Ensure proper housekeeping at the work location.
- Documentation &
- Reporting - Maintain daily site reports and manpower records.
- Maintain material receipt and consumption records.
- Prepare/assist in measurement sheets and installation checklists.
- Record testing and commissioning results.
- Report daily progress and site issues to the Project Engineer/Project Manager.
- Assist in preparing snag lists and closing pending points.
- Coordination - Coordinate with:
- Client representatives - MEP consultants - Civil/electrical/HVAC contractors - Project engineers - Fire department/NOC-related teams where required - Attend site meetings and communicate project requirements to the execution team.

Required Skills &

Qualifications - ITI / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Fire &

- Safety, Electrical or relevant technical field.




- 2–5 years of experience in Fire Fighting / Fire Alarm / MEP project execution.
- Practical knowledge of fire hydrant and sprinkler systems.
- Basic understanding of fire pumps and pump rooms.
- Knowledge of fire alarm systems will be an advantage.
- Ability to read and understand fire fighting drawings, layouts and BOQs.
- Basic knowledge of NBC, relevant IS standards and project specifications.
- Good manpower handling and site coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, WhatsApp/email reporting and documentation.
- Willingness to travel and work at project sites.

Preferred

Candidate - Experience in turnkey fire fighting projects.
- Experience in testing & commissioning.
- Ability to independently manage a small/medium-size site team.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Strong focus on quality, safety and timely completion.
- Valid two-wheeler driving licence preferred.

Key Performance

Areas (KRA) - Project work completed as per schedule.
- Quality of fire fighting and fire alarm installation.
- Proper manpower utilization.
- Minimum rework and installation defects.
- Timely testing and commissioning.
- Proper site documentation.
- Compliance with safety requirements.
- Effective coordination with client/consultant.

Reporting To: Project Engineer / Project Manager Salary: ₹__________ per month, depending on experience and technical competency.
