Position: Fire Fighting Design Engineer

Experience: 3+ Years

Location: Thiruvanmiyur, chennai

Key Responsibilities

- Design and prepare fire fighting and fire protection systems for building and industrial projects.
- Prepare fire hydrant, sprinkler, fire pump room, fire water tank, and piping layouts.
- Perform hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, and pump selection.
- Prepare design drawings, BOQ, equipment schedules, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate fire fighting designs with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, and architectural teams.
- Prepare and review AutoCAD drawings; knowledge of Revit/BIM is an added advantage.
- Ensure designs comply with NFPA, NBC, IS standards, and project requirements.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals,



and resolve technical queries.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and site teams as required.

Qualification & Skills

- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in fire fighting/fire protection design.
- Positive knowledge of NFPA, NBC, IS codes, hydraulic calculations, and fire protection systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit/BIM knowledge preferred.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
