Role Description The Finishing Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ujjain. This role is responsible for overseeing all finishing activities on construction or infrastructure projects, including surface preparation, application of coatings, and ensuring that final work meets design specifications and quality standards.

The Finishing

Engineer coordinates with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to schedule finishing tasks, monitor progress, and resolve on-site issues. Daily responsibilities include inspecting completed work, ensuring adherence to safety and compliance requirements, preparing reports, and recommending improvements to finishing methods and materials. The role also involves collaborating with procurement and quality teams to verify materials, manage timelines,



and support successful project handover.

Qualifications

- Solid knowledge of finishing works in construction or infrastructure projects, including surface preparation, coatings, plastering, painting, and related techniques.
- Experience in project execution and coordination, with the ability to manage timelines, resources, and multiple stakeholders on-site.
- Understanding of quality assurance processes, standards, and inspection methods, with a focus on delivering defect-free finishing work.
- Familiarity with budgeting and cost control concepts related to finishing activities, including material optimization and waste reduction.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with project managers, contractors, and site teams.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving on-site issues.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field; relevant experience in finishing engineering or site execution is preferred.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for on-site work environments.
