Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller for a leading multi-specialty hospital in Kochi. This role will oversee core financial governance, revenue assurance, cost management, and operational procurement controls. The ideal candidate brings solid domain expertise in healthcare finance, Hospital Information Systems (HIS), and end-to-end patient journey dynamics to drive financial integrity and operational efficiency.

Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue Assurance & Financial Governance

- Lead overall revenue assurance initiatives to plug leakages across clinical and non-clinical service lines.
- Analyze and optimize diverse revenue streams/themes unique to multi-specialty healthcare environments (e.g., OPD, IPD, Diagnostics, Pharmacy, Surgery Packages, Insurance/TPA settlements).
- Monitor financial operational workflows across the complete patient journey—from admission and clinical care to final billing and discharge.

Procurement & Inventory Management
- Establish robust governance frameworks for procurement and inventory management.
- Direct consumables control strategies to optimize inventory turnover, prevent wastage, and reduce medical supply costs.
- Oversee vendor negotiations, purchase order approvals,



and supplier payment cycles for medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and consumables.

Systems & Financial Control
- Leverage and audit Hospital Information Systems (HIS) to ensure accurate billing, real-time cost tracking, and operational data integration.
- Conduct periodic variance analyses, budgeting, financial forecasting, and internal audits to align hospital operations with financial objectives.
- Ensure strict compliance with relevant accounting standards, statutory healthcare regulations, and tax requirements.

Key Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) / ICWA / MBA in Finance (or equivalent field).
- Experience: Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager in a multi-specialty hospital or large healthcare organization.
- Technical Expertise:
- Deep practical knowledge of Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and financial ERPs.
- Demonstrated track record in revenue assurance, consumables tracking, and procurement controls in healthcare settings.
- Sound understanding of clinical operations, package pricing, and TPA/Insurance billing workflows.
- Skills: Strong analytical mindset, excellent process auditing abilities, team leadership, and effective stakeholder management skills.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
