About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to take full ownership of the finance function at Disseqt AI. This is a high-impact role for someone who wants to work directly with the Founders and leadership team on strategic financial decisions, while also managing the day-to-day rigor of compliance, reporting, and controllership across multiple geographies and entities, including our UK-based subsidiary.

What You'll Own

Financial Management & Accounting

- Drive the annual budget and rolling forecasts, tracking actuals vs. plan and flagging variances before they become surprises.
- Build the financial models that power our growth: revenue, burn,



and runway across SKUs (Managed SaaS, Enterprise Deployment) and GTM partners. Own unit economics (CAC, ARR/SKU, contract margins) end to end.
- Model deal economics on GSI-led contracts and POC-to-conversion revenue; build scenario models (best/base/worst) that fuel real planning and fundraise conversations.
- Keep the books clean: bookkeeping, reconciliations, reporting, and lead the accounts team and auditors who make it happen.
- Own compliance across India, Ireland, and UK entities (GST, TDS, ROC, VAT and beyond); weigh in on entity structuring and transfer pricing as we scale globally.

Budgeting & Financial Planning

- Turn forecasts, cash flow, and P&L; into decisions the founders can act on.
- Find cost efficiencies and tighten financial operations as we grow fast.
- Be a key player in fundraising, diligence, and investor reporting, and a trusted voice on scalability and expansion strategy.

Tax & Compliance

- Tax planning to optimize liabilities across borders.
- Build the financial guardrails that keep us moving fast without breaking things.

Reporting & Governance

- Own the monthly Investor MIS: make it sharp, accurate, on time.
- Team up with auditors and legal to keep governance rock-solid.

International Transactions





- Run cross-border payments and intercompany transactions like clockwork, with clean forex handling (conversion, hedging, gains/losses).
- Stay ahead of FEMA, FDI/ODI, EDPMS/IDPMS, and LRS regulations, plus transfer pricing, DTAA, and withholding tax.
- Be the go-to person banks and legal counsel call for smooth international money movement, and the radar for new-market regulatory shifts.

Audit Ownership

- Be THE point person for every audit (statutory, tax, internal) across every entity and geography.
- Keep us audit-ready 365 days a year, not just crunch week.
- Build real relationships with auditors and regulators across India, US, Ireland, and UK, and get ahead of issues before they're issues.

We need you to have

Experience and Qualifications

- 3-6 years of experience in finance, accounting, or controllership roles.
- Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification.

Skills

- Strong understanding of tax laws, financial compliance, forex transactions and RBI compliance and corporate finance
- Cross-border experience managing financial operations for both Indian and EU, US -based entities (mandatory).
- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks,Tally, etc..
- Analytical mindset with robust financial modeling and reporting skills.
- Experience with Track record of setting up financial systems and automations.
