What You’ll Own

- Business Finance & Unit Economics:

Drive profitability, improve margins, optimise costs, and guide capital allocation decisions.

- Decision Support:

Build financial models and provide insights to support decisions on pricing, market expansion, inventory, and marketing spend.

- Margin Improvement:

Identify and reduce revenue leakage, cancellations, refunds, discounting, and supplier-related losses.

- Cash Flow & Working Capital:

Manage cash flow forecasting, treasury, working capital, foreign exchange exposure, and collections.

- FP&A;:

Own annual planning, rolling forecasts, budgeting, and monthly performance reviews.

- Controllership & Compliance: Ensure timely financial closures, reconciliations, GST/TDS compliance, audits, and statutory filings.

- Team Leadership:

Lead and transform a finance team of around 25 members, improving efficiency while scaling business operations.

How You’ll Drive Impact

- Automate repetitive finance processes using technology, rule-based automation, and AI agents.

- Reduce manual intervention, improve productivity, and scale transaction volumes without proportionately increasing headcount.

- Build efficient systems for reconciliation, collections, commission recovery, and leakage detection.

- Deliver measurable improvements in finance operations, margins,



and cost efficiency.

Who We’re Looking For

- Chartered Accountant (CA), preferably cleared in the first attempt or close to it.

- 9–15 years of experience, primarily in Business Finance and FP&A.;

- Solid expertise in unit economics, costing, contribution margins, and P&L; management.

- Hands-on experience in cash flow forecasting, working capital, and financial planning.

- Proven experience automating finance processes, with measurable improvements in headcount, efficiency, or turnaround time.

- Experience scaling finance operations while maintaining or reducing team size.

- Comfortable working with a fast-paced, demanding founder and business leaders.

- Stable career history with experience in well-managed, financially disciplined organisations.

What Will Set You Apart

- Experience in travel, hospitality, e-commerce, marketplaces, or transaction-heavy businesses.

- Exposure to multi-currency transactions, supplier prepayments, and commission accounting.

- Experience managing finance across multiple business units.

- Ability to build dashboards and reporting systems for business leaders.

- Experience with fundraising, financial due diligence, or profitability improvement.
