Employment Type: Full-Time THE ROLEWe are looking for a Finance & Accounts Manager to take ownership of the financial operations of Mukti & Kavith Casa.

This role will be responsible for end-to-end accounting, P&L; management, cash flow, financial reporting, taxation, compliance and financial controls across the business.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working closely with the founder and management team, understanding the numbers behind the business and turning financial data into actionable insights.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESFinancial Management

- Take ownership of the company's P&L; and financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual P&L; statements.
- Monitor revenue, gross margins, operating costs and profitability.
- Track and analyse store-wise and business-wise financial performance.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts and financial projections.
- Monitor actuals against budgets and highlight variances.

Accounting & MIS

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure books are accurate and up to date.
- Prepare monthly MIS and management reports.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, purchases, expenses, receivables and payables.
- Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Ensure timely bank, ledger and payment reconciliations.
- Provide management with regular financial dashboards and insights.

Cash Flow & Working Capital

- Monitor daily/weekly cash flow and working capital requirements.
- Manage cash flow planning and payment schedules.
- Track outstanding receivables and vendor payments.
- Ensure sufficient liquidity for business operations.
- Identify opportunities to improve working capital efficiency.

Taxation & Compliance

- Ensure timely GST, TDS and other statutory filings.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants and external financial advisors.




- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and taxation regulations.
- Support internal and statutory audits.
- Maintain proper documentation and financial records.

Business Finance

- Analyse profitability across stores, product categories and sales channels.
- Track cost of goods, production costs, inventory and operating expenses.
- Identify cost-control opportunities.
- Support management in financial decision-making.
- Build financial models and reports for new stores, collections and business initiatives.
- Work closely with operations, production, retail and management teams.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5–8 years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Experience handling P&L;, MIS, cash flow and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS and statutory compliance.
- Experience with accounting/ERP software such as Tally, Zoho Books or similar platforms.
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills.
- Experience in retail, fashion, manufacturing, D2C or consumer businesses is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of financial operations.
- Solid communication skills and the ability to present financial information clearly to management.
