We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Head of Accounts to lead our accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate should have robust experience in accounting, financial reporting, taxation, compliance, and financial controls, preferably within the NBFC or banking sector.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the complete accounting and finance operations of the organization.
- Manage day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial transactions.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting records.
- Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliation, fund movements, and financial transactions.
- Manage financial reporting and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with applicable RBI, Companies Act, GST, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and regulatory reports.
- Monitor loan-related accounting, interest income, provisions, recoveries, and other NBFC-related financial transactions.
- Establish and maintain strong internal financial controls and accounting procedures.
- Review and verify financial data, vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents.
- Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, financial planning,



and business analysis.
- Identify financial risks and recommend appropriate corrective measures.
- Supervise and guide the accounts and finance team.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Support management in financial decision-making and other finance-related requirements.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA / CMA / M.Com / MBA Finance qualification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in NBFC, Banking, Financial Services, or Lending institutions.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in the following areas will be preferred:
- NBFC accounting
- Loan and interest accounting
- Financial reporting
- RBI/NBFC compliance
