Position: Electronics Field Technician – Smart Lockers

About the Role

We are looking for a responsible and technically inclined Electronics Field Technician to support our IoT-enabled Smart Digital Locker operations. The role involves visiting customer and venue locations, assisting with installation, troubleshooting electronic hardware, and ensuring the smooth functioning of smart lockers.

This is an excellent chance for ITI Electronics / Diploma Electronics freshers interested in electronics, field service, IoT, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

§ Visit customer and venue locations for smart locker installation, maintenance, and service.

§ Assist in electronic wiring, connections, component installation, testing, and commissioning of smart lockers.

§ Diagnose and resolve basic issues related to electronic hardware, power supply, sensors, switches, relays, and connectivity.

§ Check locker device status, power supply, internet connectivity, and hardware connections.

§ Provide on-site technical support and ensure lockers remain operational.

§ Coordinate with venue staff for site access, service visits, and issue reporting.

§ Assist senior technicians/engineers in troubleshooting complex electronic and technical issues.

§ Support installations at malls, movie theatres, schools, offices, temples, stores, corporate campuses, and other customer locations.

§ Assist with site surveys and identify basic technical requirements before installation.

§ Coordinate with electricians and other vendors during installation activities.

§ Conduct post-installation testing and functional checks.

§ Maintain service reports and update installation/service status.





§ Follow company safety and operational guidelines during field visits.

Required Skills & Qualifications

§ ITI – Electronics / Electrical & Electronics or Diploma – Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Instrumentation / Electrical & Electronics.

§ Freshers are welcome.

§ Basic knowledge of electronics, circuits, wiring, sensors, switches, relays, connectors, and electronic components.

§ Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

§ Interest in IoT, electronics, automation, and smart devices.

§ Basic computer and smartphone knowledge.

§ Good communication and interpersonal skills.

§ Must own a two-wheeler with a valid driving licence.

§ Comfortable travelling to multiple customer locations.

§ Willingness to travel outside Chennai for short durations as project requirements demand.

§ Flexible to work extended hours when required during installations or urgent service requirements.
