About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Technician to join our Service & Technical Support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of water purification systems, including RO, UV, UF, and related water treatment equipment.

The technician will work directly with customers at residential and commercial locations, ensuring that products are installed correctly, perform efficiently, and deliver a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Install and commission RO, UV, UF and other water purification systems at customer locations.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, servicing, and repair of water purifiers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and water-quality-related issues.
- Replace filters, membranes, pumps, SMPS units, valves, sensors, and other components as required.
- Perform product demonstrations and explain proper usage and maintenance to customers.
- Identify technical issues accurately and provide effective solutions within the required service timeline.
- Check water quality and system performance after installation or service.
- Maintain proper documentation of service visits, parts replaced, and customer feedback.
- Ensure service calls are completed within defined SLA/TAT.
- Coordinate with the Service Coordinator and internal teams regarding customer complaints and technical issues.
- Maintain service tools, equipment, spare parts, and company assets properly.
- Follow company service procedures, safety standards, and quality guidelines.
- Maintain professional conduct and a customer-friendly approach during all service visits.




- Identify potential spare-part or accessory requirements and communicate them to the concerned team.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate technical/support team.

Key Skills & Competencies
- Good knowledge of RO water purifiers and water treatment systems.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic components.
- Understanding of plumbing, piping, pumps, valves, filters, and membranes.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls.
- Comfortable travelling to customer locations.
- Basic smartphone and service-app knowledge.
- Good time management and ability to work within service timelines.
- Positive attitude with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Eligibility
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Plumbing, or a related technical field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in water purifier, RO, home appliances, electrical, plumbing, or related field service.
- Freshers with relevant technical qualifications and strong practical knowledge may also be considered.
- Valid two-wheeler driving licence preferred.
- Candidates should be comfortable with local field travel.
