Role Generate farmer-level demand by running field demonstrations and creating visible in-crop results that pull product through dealer counters.
Responsibilities
- Plan and run demos on farmer plots, focused on tomato, chilli and other short-cycle vegetables
- Conduct farmer meetings and village activities to build a solid contact base
- Follow up on demo plots through the crop cycle and capture before/after and adjacent-plot results
- Direct farmers to stocking dealers and pass reorder signals to the TSE/TSM
- Report field intelligence: pest, disease and weed pressure,
competitor activity and pricing, dealer-level movement
- Log every demo, meeting and visit
- Support dealer liquidation targets by keeping demand ahead of stock
Must-Haves
- Own two-wheeler and valid driving licence
- English and Kannada proficiency (spoken Kannada is non-negotiable)
Preferred
- B.Sc. Agriculture, diploma in agriculture, or equivalent crop knowledge
- Prior agri-input field experience (agrochemicals, biostimulants, seeds, fertilizers)
- Based in, or willing to relocate to, the assigned cluster
First 6 Months, Success Looks Like
- Monthly demos completed and followed through on target crops
- Active farmer contact base across the territory
- Reorder pull traceable to your demos
- Daily field reports filed on time
