Role & responsibilities

We're looking for a Field Executive with valuable sales knowledge and experience in the education sector. You'll bring in new students, build partnerships with colleges and institutions, and grow admissions for our Japanese language and placement programs.

- Promote Astro Academy's Japanese language courses and placement programs through field visits
- Visit colleges, schools, universities, coaching centers and companies to generate leads and admissions
- Run seminars, workshops, campus drives and awareness sessions about career opportunities in Japanese
- Counsel students and parents on courses, fees, JLPT levels and career paths
- Follow up on leads by phone, WhatsApp and in-person meetings, and turn them into admissions
- Build and maintain partnerships with colleges, training institutes and HR teams
- Meet monthly admission and revenue targets
- Take part in education fairs, exhibitions and promotional events
- Keep lead and sales records up to date in Excel, and share daily or weekly reports




- Collect market feedback and track competitor activity to suggest new ideas

Preferred candidate profile

- 1 - 3 years of experience in the education sector (institute, EdTech, coaching center or education product sales)
- Strong sales, negotiation and closing skills
- Good communication skills in English and the local language (Tamil, Hindi or others as needed)
- Confident presenting to students, parents and college management
- Target-driven and self-motivated
- Willing to travel for field work daily
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA in Marketing is a plus)

Preferred Qualifications

- Existing network with colleges, schools or training institutes
- Experience selling language, skill-development or overseas career programs
- Basic knowledge of Japanese or interest in Japan-related careers

Salary: 20,000 45,000 per month (fixed), depending on experience, plus performance incentives
