Role Description The FEA Engineer will perform finite element analysis to support design, validation, and optimization of mechanical components and assemblies used in defense and space applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and refining simulation models, defining loads and boundary conditions, interpreting results, and preparing clear technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. The role involves close collaboration with design, R&D;, and project teams to iterate designs based on analysis outcomes and ensure compliance with performance and safety requirements.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Trivandrum,



requiring regular coordination with engineering and project management personnel. The FEA Engineer is expected to contribute to continuous improvement of analysis methodologies and maintain accurate documentation of all work.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering with demonstrated skills in Machine Design.
- Min 1 year Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating and modifying 3D models and drawings used in FEA.
- Experience in Research and Development (R&D;), including experimental validation or correlation of simulation results.
- Ability to support Project Management activities such as planning analysis tasks, tracking progress, and communicating status.
- Hands-on experience with FEA software (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus, Nastran or similar) and understanding of structural, thermal, and fatigue analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Ability to work on-site in Trivandrum, collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams, and meet project deadlines.
