Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) – Salesforce Agentforce

About the Role

Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) build team turns the enterprise's highest-value AI opportunities into production reality, partnering with US-based FDEs to deliver solutions across lines of business. As an Engineer, AI, you will build and deliver production-grade AI agents and solutions leveraging Salesforce Agentforce, leveraging LLM APIs, Prompt templates, agentic workflows, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) — that drive employee productivity, process optimization, and smarter decision-making. Working hands-on within established patterns and reference implementations, and collaborating closely with senior engineers, FDEs, and cross-functional teams, you will ensure AI-driven solutions are effectively integrated into enterprise workflows.

What You'll Do

- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered agents using Salesforce Agentforce to address business and operational challenges.
- Partner with customers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to identify, scope, and deliver impactful AI solutions.
- Build and optimize RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, prompt strategies, and multi-agent orchestration solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Develop integrations between Salesforce, enterprise applications, APIs, and third-party platforms.
- Configure and customize Salesforce platform components, including Agentforce, Data Cloud, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Einstein AI capabilities.
- Collaborate with solution architects and product teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Conduct solution workshops, demonstrations, and technical discussions with business and customer stakeholders.
- Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve AI agent performance, reliability, security, and adoption.
- Contribute to DevOps, CI/CD, governance, and best practices for Salesforce and AI implementations.




- Build and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, deployment guides, and knowledge assets.

What You'll Bring

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development, architecture, or enterprise application implementation.
- Hands-on experience designing and deploying AI-powered applications and agentic workflows.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce Agentforce, Einstein AI, Data Cloud, and Salesforce platform capabilities.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems using APIs, middleware, and integration technologies.
- Strong problem-solving and consulting skills with the ability to engage directly with business stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile environments and participating in end-to-end solution delivery.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with customer-facing experience.

Must-Have Skills

- 5+ years of Salesforce platform experience, including configuration, customization, integration, and development.
- Salesforce Agentforce implementation (Required).
- Strong experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Data Cloud, and Salesforce Einstein.
- Experience building AI solutions using LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and agentic workflows.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications through REST APIs, middleware.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders and customers in a solution delivery or consulting model.
- Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flows
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, version control, and deployment automation.
