Silaio is a fashion-tech startup bringing personalized fashion designing and tailoring to customers' doorsteps. Customers can consult with a fashion designer, discuss their requirements, select designs and fabrics, get measurements, and receive customized outfits.

We are looking for a Fashion Designer Intern who is passionate about fashion, styling, custom clothing, and customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist fashion designers in creating custom outfit designs based on customer requirements.
- Participate in customer consultations and understand their fashion preferences.
- Assist with measurements, fabric selection, styling, and design suggestions.
- Create and maintain basic fashion sketches, design references, and mood boards.
- Research current fashion trends, silhouettes, fabrics, colors, and designs.
- Assist in developing customized designs for suits, kurtis, blouses, dresses, and other women's wear.




- Coordinate with the stitching team to ensure the design is executed correctly.
- Maintain customer design details and measurement records.
- Visit customer locations when required for consultations and measurements.
- Assist in fittings, alterations, and quality checks.
- Support the team in creating fashion content, styling references, and social-media ideas.
- Maintain professionalism and provide a positive customer experience.

Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a course/degree in Fashion Designing, Fashion Technology, Apparel Design, or a related field.
- Good understanding of women's fashion and current trends.
- Basic knowledge of fabrics, measurements, garment construction, and stitching.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Comfortable interacting with customers.
- Candidates who enjoy styling, custom fashion, and designing will be preferred.
