Qualification

Candidates should possess a B.Tech./B.E. and M.Tech./M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline, along with a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field from a reputed/premier institute or university, preferably among institutions ranked within the top 25 in NIRF or within the top 1000 in recognized global rankings such as QS. Applications are particularly encouraged from candidates with expertise in Quantum Computing, Agentic AI/Agentic Engineering, Cyber Security, and Core/Theoretical Computer Science.

Amrita School of Computing, Bengaluru invites applications from accomplished and motivated faculty members who are passionate about research excellence, innovation, and transformative computing education.

The selected faculty members will be expected to establish and pursue a robust, independent research agenda leading to high-quality publications in reputed international journals and conferences,



development of interdisciplinary collaborations, and successful acquisition of competitive research grants from national and international funding agencies and industry.

Faculty members will also be encouraged to mentor research scholars and undergraduate/postgraduate students, develop research teams, and contribute to technology innovation and knowledge creation.

Alongside research, faculty members will contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Computer Science and related disciplines.

Particular emphasis will be placed on AI-era education, including innovative pedagogical approaches, experiential and project-based learning, technology-enhanced teaching, authentic and effective assessment methods, and integration of emerging computing technologies into the curriculum.
