Role Description The Factory Manager role at S V Ispat Pvt. Ltd. is a full-time, on-site position based in Jharsuguda.

The Factory

Manager oversees daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are met safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standards for carbon and coke products.

Responsibilities include coordinating production planning, monitoring equipment performance, managing factory staff schedules, and implementing operational procedures to optimize output and reduce downtime. The role involves enforcing quality control protocols,



maintaining compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and collaborating with senior management on process improvements and cost optimization.

The Factory

Manager also prepares operational reports, supports audits, and drives continuous improvement initiatives across the factory.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Production Planning and Production Management to supervise end-to-end factory output and resource utilization.
- Proficiency in Operations Management and Manufacturing Operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe day-to-day plant activities.
- Experience with Quality Control processes to maintain consistent product standards and compliance with industry requirements.
- Relevant experience in heavy manufacturing, preferably in steel, carbon, coke, or related industrial sectors.
- Ability to lead diverse teams, with strong people management, conflict resolution, and performance coaching skills.
- Sound understanding of industrial safety, environmental regulations, and maintenance best practices.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with competency in using production and reporting software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
