We are looking for a responsible and hands-on Supervisor for our cashew processing unit in Kesinga, Odisha. The candidate will supervise and support daily operations related to cashew peeling, grading, and packing, ensuring smooth production and maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily activities related to cashew peeling, grading, and packing.
- Coordinate with workers and allocate work according to production requirements.
- Monitor the quality of cashew kernels during grading and packing.
- Ensure proper handling, sorting, and packing of cashew products.
- Maintain daily production and worker attendance records.
- Ensure proper utilization of materials, equipment, and manpower.
- Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the processing area.
- Identify and report quality or production-related issues to management.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within the required time.
- Support management in maintaining smooth day-to-day factory operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in cashew processing, food processing, or a similar industry.
- Knowledge of cashew grading, peeling, and packing will be preferred.
- Valuable manpower handling and communication skills.
- Ability to manage workers and maintain discipline.
- Basic knowledge of production and quality control.
- Willingness to work at the Kesinga, Odisha location.
- Candidates with experience in the cashew industry will be given preference.
