A Facility Management Hygiene Assistant supports the day-to-day maintenance, cleanliness, hygiene and smooth operation of a facility. The role involves coordinating housekeeping activities, monitoring hygiene standards, reporting maintenance issues and assisting the facility management team.

Responsibilities

- Assist in daily facility management and operational activities.
- Monitor cleanliness and hygiene of offices, rooms, washrooms, corridors and common areas.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and cleaning staff.
- Check availability of cleaning materials, toiletries and other supplies.
- Report electrical, plumbing, civil, furniture and other maintenance issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of facility areas.
- Assist in maintaining facility records, checklists and inspection reports.
- Support waste collection and proper disposal practices.
- Help ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene procedures.
- Coordinate with maintenance vendors and service personnel when required.
- Assist during inspections, events, meetings and other facility activities.




- Report operational problems to the Facility Manager or Supervisor.

Skills and Qualifications

Skills Required

- Basic knowledge of facility maintenance and hygiene practices.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic computer and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to supervise and coordinate housekeeping activities.
- Problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.

Experience

- Experience: 1+ years of in facility management, housekeeping, maintenance coordination, sanitation or office administration is preferred.

Qualifications

- Minimum 10th or 12th Pass from a recognized board.
- Graduate candidates may be preferred.
- Certificate/Diploma in Facility Management, Housekeeping, Hospitality or Administration is an advantage.
