Role Description The Facade Estimator is a full-time, on-site role based in Navi Mumbai. This position is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for facade, curtain walling, and glazing projects by reviewing architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents.

Day-to-day tasks include quantity take-offs, pricing materials and labor, evaluating subcontractor quotations, and preparing bid proposals and cost summaries. The role involves coordinating with design, engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure estimates are accurate, feasible,



and aligned with project requirements.

The Facade

Estimator also contributes to value engineering, risk assessment, and cost optimization, while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of materials, systems, and industry standards.

Qualifications

- Solid skills in quantity take-off, cost estimation, and bid preparation for facades, glazing, and building envelope systems.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Proficiency with MS Excel and other estimation tools or software; familiarity with CAD is an advantage.
- Knowledge of facade materials, systems, installation methods, and relevant building codes and industry standards.
- Effective analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in facade or construction estimation is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Navi Mumbai, manage deadlines, and handle multiple tenders or projects simultaneously.
