Faade Design Engineer Louvers / Architectural Metal Systems
Purpose of the Role To develop and detail louver, ceiling, screen, and related architectural metal systems while supporting customized louver requirements and future-ready system detailing.
- Prepare detailed drawings and assemblies for louvers and other architectural metal products.
- Support custom-order louver design and development.
- Work on fixing systems, spans, mounting details, brackets, and installation requirements.
- Develop practical and manufacturable design solutions.
- Coordinate with testing, production, prototype, and other technical teams.
- Review and refine designs based on testing, production feedback, and installation requirements.
- Maintain proper drawing, documentation, and revision control.

Required Skill Set
- Understanding of sheet metal and aluminium profiles
- Basic knowledge of faade detailing
- Fixing and bracket detailing
- AutoCAD / CAD drawing skills
- Understanding of tolerances and assemblies
- Positive structural understanding and practical engineering sense
- Awareness of weather exposure and installation requirements
- Understanding of fabrication and manufacturability
- STAAD.Pro knowledge will be preferred
