Role Description This full-time, on-site Export Customer Service and Documentation Executive role is based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The role involves managing export documentation, including preparation and verification of invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, and related customs and freight documents. The executive will coordinate with customers, shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and customs brokers to ensure smooth execution of export shipments and timely resolution of queries.

Responsibilities include tracking shipments, updating customers on status, handling booking confirmations, and maintaining accurate records in company systems.



The role also requires adherence to regulatory requirements, internal quality standards, and close collaboration with operations and accounts teams for billing and compliance.

Qualifications

- Strong export documentation skills, including preparation, review, and filing of shipping and customs-related documents.
- Customer service capabilities focused on handling client queries, providing shipment updates, and maintaining professional communication.
- Basic logistics and supply chain knowledge, covering sea, air, and land freight processes and EXIM trade procedures.
- Proficiency with office software and data entry tools for maintaining records, generating reports, and updating internal systems.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple shipments and deadlines accurately.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or export documentation is preferred.
- Relevant diploma or degree in logistics, commerce, business, or a related field is beneficial.
