Role Description The Experienced Freight Broker and Team Leader is a full-time, on-site role based in Chandigarh, India. This position is responsible for brokering freight between shippers and carriers, negotiating rates, and ensuring efficient movement of loads.

Daily tasks include managing dispatch operations, building and maintaining customer and carrier relationships, handling inquiries and issue resolution, and overseeing account performance. The role also involves guiding and mentoring team members, monitoring KPIs, coordinating with Square Logistic Solutions LLC, and ensuring all activities comply with company policies and industry regulations. The team leader is expected to drive operational efficiency,



maintain accurate documentation, and support continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

- Strong Freight Brokerage and Brokerage skills with proven experience managing loads and negotiating rates.
- Excellent Customer Service and Account Management capabilities to build long-term client and carrier relationships.
- Hands-on experience in Dispatching, including coordinating pickups, deliveries, and resolving on-road issues.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising or mentoring a team in a logistics or transportation environment.
- Good understanding of North American freight market, lanes, and industry terminology.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting, prioritize tasks, and make data-driven decisions under time pressure.
- Robust communication skills in English (spoken and written); additional language proficiency is an advantage.
- Comfort with logistics software, TMS platforms, spreadsheets, and standard office tools.
- Minimum of 2–4 years of relevant experience in freight brokerage or logistics operations; prior US market experience is preferred.
- Relevant education in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is beneficial.
