We are looking for an experienced EXIM professional with 16~18 years of relevant experience in the EMS / Electronics Manufacturing industry to lead and manage the complete ExportImport function. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth, compliant and cost-effective movement of materials, components and finished goods across international borders while maintaining strong coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end Export & Import operations for the manufacturing plant.
- Manage import of electronic components, raw materials, machinery, spares and other materials.
- Manage exports of finished goods, samples, components and other shipments as per customer requirements.
- Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, GST, Foreign Trade Policy and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Handle Bill of Entry, Shipping Bills, AWB/BL, COO, commercial invoices, packing lists and other EXIM documentation.
- Ensure timely customs clearance and coordinate with Customs, CHA, freight forwarders, shipping lines and other logistics partners.
- Manage Bonded Warehouse / EOU / SEZ / EPCG / Advance Authorisation / Duty Drawback / RoDTEP processes, wherever applicable.
- Monitor and optimize customs duty, freight, clearance and other EXIM-related costs.
- Ensure proper classification of materials under HSN/HS Codes and determine applicable duties and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with Procurement, Stores, Logistics, Finance, Production, Quality and Customer Service teams.
- Track import shipments and ensure timely delivery of critical components to avoid production interruptions.
- Establish and monitor EXIM KPIs, MIS and dashboards covering shipment status, clearance TAT, cost, duty and compliance.
- Ensure accurate reconciliation of import/export documentation, customs records and statutory filings.




- Manage audits and inspections related to Customs, DGFT, GST and other regulatory authorities.
- Identify opportunities for duty savings, process improvement, automation and logistics cost optimization.
- Lead and develop the EXIM team and establish robust SOPs and internal controls.

Mandatory Requirements

- 16~18 years of overall experience, with significant experience in EXIM operations within the EMS / Electronics Manufacturing industry.
- Strong hands-on experience in electronics components and manufacturing-related imports and exports.
- Good knowledge of Customs, DGFT, GST and Foreign Trade Policy.
- Strong understanding of HSN/HS classification, customs valuation, duty structures and EXIM documentation.
- Experience in working with CHA, freight forwarders, customs authorities and logistics partners.
- Experience in handling high-volume and time-critical import/export operations.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, stakeholder-management and team-leadership skills.
- Good working knowledge of SAP/ERP and MS Excel.

Preferred Experience Candidates from EMS / Electronics Manufacturing / PCB / PCBA / Automotive Electronics / Consumer Electronics / EV Electronics / Electronic Components manufacturing will be preferred.

Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate should be a senior EXIM qualified who has independently handled end-to-end ExportImport operations in an EMS/electronics manufacturing environment, with strong exposure to customs compliance, international logistics, documentation, duty optimization and cross-functional stakeholder management.
