About the Role

We are looking for an Exhibition Stall Designer who can turn client requirements into creative, functional and fabrication-ready exhibition stall designs.

The ideal candidate should be highly comfortable working with SketchUp Pro and AutoCAD/ZWCAD as well as Graphic designing software, and should have a practical understanding of how exhibition structures are manufactured, fabricated and assembled.

What You'll Do

Design exhibition stalls and booth structures in SketchUp Pro

Develop layouts, elevations and technical drawings in AutoCAD/ZWCAD

Design counters, display units, storage areas, walls, branding structures and other stall elements

Develop designs with fabrication and assembly in mind

Coordinate designs with fabrication/CNC requirements

Prepare or assist with CNC-ready drawings and DXF files

Account for material thickness, joints, slots, tabs, tolerances and assembly requirements

Work with the team to refine designs for practical manufacturing

Make design revisions based on project requirements and feedback

Collaborate with the team to develop design presentations and client-facing visuals where required

What We're Looking For

Must Have

Strong proficiency in SketchUp Pro

Good working knowledge of AutoCAD or ZWCAD

Minimum 4 years of relevant experience preferred

Previous experience in exhibition/stall design

Understanding of fabrication and material construction

Understanding of CNC-based manufacturing workflows

Ability to create accurate 2D technical drawings from 3D designs

Good understanding of dimensions, proportions, materials and construction details





Good to Have

Experience with honeycomb board, corrugated board, MDF, plywood or similar sheet materials

Experience preparing DXF files for CNC

Knowledge of CNC cutting, creasing and nesting

Experience working with fabrication or production teams

Graphic design capabilities for creating or modifying exhibition graphics and presentation material

Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Photoshop or similar graphic-design software

Ability to understand artwork requirements, dimensions and print-ready files The Right Candidate

We are looking for someone who understands that an exhibition stall has to be more than visually appealing - it needs to be manufacturable, transportable and easy to assemble.

The ideal candidate combines creative design skills with solid technical and fabrication knowledge and can take a concept from 3D design through technical development and fabrication.

Graphic-design skills will be an added advantage, allowing the designer to contribute to both the structural/design side and visual communication side of exhibition projects.
