Purpose:

The Warehouse Executive / Sr. Executive is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, issuance, and documentation of raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and other inventory in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and company SOPs. The role ensures accurate inventory control, regulatory compliance, and smooth coordination with Production, QA, and Dispatch teams.

Experience Required:

4–6 years of experience in pharmaceutical warehouse operations (preferably in formulation plants)

Dosage Forms:

Solid / Semi-solid / Liquid Oral

Job Responsibilities / Key Deliverables:

1. Inventory Management:

- Receive, verify, and account for incoming raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
- Ensure proper storage conditions as per material specifications (temperature, humidity, FEFO/FIFO).
- Maintain optimal stock levels and monitor inventory to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Conduct periodic stock audits, verification, and reconciliation.

2. Documentation & Compliance:

- Handle all QMS activities including change control, deviations, risk assessments, CAPA, and SOP preparation related to warehouse operations.
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure proper documentation of Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), material issuance, and dispatch activities.
- Maintain batch-wise traceability of all materials.
- Support internal, regulatory,



and customer audits.

3. Material Handling & Storage:

- Ensure proper labeling, segregation, and storage of materials (approved, rejected, and quarantined).
- Monitor warehouse environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity logs.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and valuable housekeeping practices.

4. Coordination & Dispatch:

- Coordinate effectively with Production, QA, QC, and Purchase departments.
- Ensure timely and accurate dispatch of finished goods.
- Oversee proper packing and documentation for shipments.

5. ERP / System Management:

- Update inventory records in ERP systems (SAP / WMS or other inventory management systems).
- Generate inventory and stock reports as required by management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Science, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of GMP, GDP, and regulatory compliance guidelines.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP/WMS and proficiency in MS Office tools.

Additional Notes:

Key Skills:

- Strong knowledge of FEFO/FIFO inventory principles
- Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills
- Good understanding of pharmaceutical quality and compliance standards
- Strong communication and interdepartmental coordination skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational ability

Working Conditions:

- Work based in a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant environment
- May require shift-based working
- Strict adherence to safety, hygiene, and compliance protocols is mandatory.
