Role & responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day Ayurvedic production and manufacturing activities as per the production plan.

- Ensure production targets are achieved within the defined timelines and quality parameters.

- Execute manufacturing activities as per approved BMR/BPR, SOPs and GMP guidelines.

- Supervise and monitor shop-floor activities, manpower and production processes.

- Ensure proper documentation and completion of batch manufacturing records.

- Coordinate with QA, QC, Warehouse, Engineering and Planning teams.

- Ensure line clearance, area clearance and equipment readiness before production.

- Monitor batch yields, process parameters and material utilization.

- Identify and report deviations, process abnormalities and production-related issues.

- Support investigation and implementation of CAPA in coordination with QA.

- Maintain production area hygiene, housekeeping and safety standards.





- Ensure proper operation and cleaning of production equipment.

- Train and guide operators and junior production staff.

- Support internal and regulatory audits.

- Drive productivity, process improvement and reduction of production wastage.

Preferred candidate profile

- B.Pharm (Ayurveda) Mandatory.

- 26 years of experience in Ayurvedic / Herbal / Pharmaceutical manufacturing.

- Valuable knowledge of GMP, SOPs, BMR/BPR and production documentation.

- Hands-on experience in production/shop-floor operations.

- Good knowledge of Ayurvedic manufacturing processes and practices.

- Good communication, coordination and team-handling skills.

- Willingness to work in shifts as per plant requirements.

- Candidates with experience in an Ayurvedic manufacturing plant will be preferred.
