Role Description The Executive Chef is a full time, on-site role based at Hotel RAMTA Continental in Patna. This role oversees all kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, presentation standards, and quality control for restaurants, banquets, and special events.

The Executive

Chef leads, trains, and schedules kitchen staff, ensuring consistent adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations. Daily responsibilities include managing inventory, coordinating with suppliers, controlling food costs, and collaborating with hotel management on new culinary concepts and promotions.



The role also involves maintaining high guest satisfaction by responding to feedback and continuously improving the dining experience.

Qualifications

- Strong culinary skills in menu planning, food preparation, plating, and flavor profiling.
- Experience in kitchen operations, including staff supervision, scheduling, and workflow management.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and regulatory compliance in commercial kitchens.
- Ability to manage inventory, control food costs, and coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
- Experience in banquet and event catering, especially in luxury or upscale hotel environments.
- Leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and develop a diverse kitchen team.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work closely with front-of-house and management teams.
- Formal culinary education or certification is preferred, along with significant experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef.
- Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as required by hotel operations.
