This role goes beyond standard EA responsibilities - you'll be the backbone of the MD's day-to-day operations while also lending support to the broader ArthAum team as needed.
The Executive Assistant to the Managing Director is a full-time remote role, ideal for someone early in their career who is looking to build a strong foundation in executive support and organisational coordination. This position manages the Managing Director's calendar, schedules meetings across time zones, and coordinates virtual and occasional in-person engagements. Daily tasks include handling correspondence, preparing documents and basic presentations, organising files, and tracking follow-ups and deadlines.
The Executive
Assistant will support communication between the Managing Director and internal/external stakeholders, assist with travel planning, and help with meeting notes and action items. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organised, dependable, and eager to grow within a venture capital and advisory environment.
Qualifications
- 1-4 years of experience in an administrative, coordination, or executive support role,
with some exposure to diary or calendar management (freshers with strong organisational skills and relevant internships may also be considered)
- Prior experience managing a calendar or diary for a manager, team, or senior stakeholder, including scheduling, prioritising, and rescheduling as needed
- Valuable communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to draft clear and professional correspondence
- Comfortable using productivity tools such as calendar and email platforms, virtual meeting tools, and basic document/spreadsheet software (Google Workspace/MS Office). HIGHLY IMPORTANT
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, stay organised, and manage multiple small tasks at once
- A bachelor's degree in business, administration, or a related field is preferred
Key responsibilities:
- Day-to-day diary and calendar management, including scheduling and rescheduling as priorities shift
- Coordinating meetings, basic travel arrangements, and correspondence on behalf of the MD
- Preparing simple documents and communication materials for internal and external stakeholders
- Acting as a point of contact between the MD's office and internal teams
- Providing flexible, ad-hoc support across the ArthAum team when required
