Role Description The Event Manager role is a full time, on-site position based in Chennai.

The Event

Manager will plan and execute corporate and experiential events, including concept development, budgeting, timelines, vendor coordination, and on-ground management.

Responsibilities include collaborating with clients and internal teams to understand objectives, translating them into event concepts, managing logistics, and ensuring high-quality production and delivery. The role also involves overseeing registration and attendee experience, managing event technology, monitoring risks, and ensuring events are completed on schedule and within budget.

The Event

Manager will prepare post-event reports, track performance metrics, and recommend improvements for future projects.

Qualifications

- Experience in end-to-end event management, including planning, logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site execution.




- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to understand brand objectives and translate them into effective event concepts and experiences.
- Proficiency in using event management tools or software, basic MS Office skills, and comfort working with event technology solutions.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with production, design, and procurement, and maintain positive vendor and partner relationships.
- Willingness to work flexible schedule, travel for events as required, and adapt to fast-paced, on-ground situations.
