Role Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and self-motivated Event Sales Intern who is interested in building a career in events, exhibitions, sales, business development, travel, and tourism.

The intern will work closely with the Exhibition Sales team and gain hands-on experience in lead generation, market research, exhibitor outreach, cold calling, email campaigns, proposal sharing, and sales follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities

- Research and extract relevant company and contact information from online sources to build a database of potential exhibitors and clients.
- Identify companies, organizations, and decision-makers from the travel, tourism, hospitality, exhibitions, and related industries.
- Make outbound/cold calls to collected leads to identify the right Point of Contact (POC) for exhibition and participation proposals.
- Verify and update contact details, including name, designation, phone number, email ID, company details, and other relevant information.
- Contact potential exhibitors to understand their interest and requirements and maintain accurate lead information.
- Conduct mass email campaigns to prospective exhibitors and relevant industry contacts with exhibition proposals, invitations, and promotional information.
- Follow up with prospects through calls and emails to generate interest and identify potential business opportunities.
- Maintain and regularly update lead databases, spreadsheets, and CRM records with the latest information and follow-up status.




- Assist the Exhibition Sales team in generating new exhibitor leads through online research, databases, directories, and other sources.
- Support the team in preparing and sharing exhibition proposals, participation details, and other relevant communication with prospective exhibitors.
- Track responses, follow-ups, interested prospects, and potential leads, and provide regular updates to the reporting manager.

Eligibility

- Final-year students or recent graduates from Event Management, Hospitality Management, Travel & Tourism, Tourism Management, Hotel Management, Marketing, Mass Communication, or related disciplines.
- Students from event management institutes, hospitality colleges, travel & tourism institutes, and other relevant educational institutions are encouraged to apply.
- Strong interest in events, exhibitions, travel, tourism, marketing, sales, and business development.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and email communication.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a target-oriented and fast-paced workplace.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and communicating with prospective clients.
- Prior internship, volunteering, sales experience, or participation in college events will be an added advantage but is not mandatory.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
