Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced ETL Tester with around 5 years of experience in data warehouse testing, ETL validation, and database testing. The candidate should have solid SQL skills and hands-on experience in validating data across source, transformation, and target systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform ETL testing to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
- Validate data between source and target systems for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
- Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation and reconciliation.
- Test ETL mappings, workflows, transformations, and business rules.
- Perform data warehouse testing, including fact and dimension tables.
- Identify, analyze, document, and track defects using defect management tools.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, regression, and integration testing.
- Work closely with developers, ETL teams, business analysts, and data engineers to resolve data issues.
- Prepare test scenarios, test cases, test data, and execution reports.





Mandatory Skills
- 5+ years of experience in ETL/Data Warehouse Testing
- Strong SQL skills
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or similar
- Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts
- Experience with Source-to-Target validation and data reconciliation
- Knowledge of Fact Dimension tables, Star/Snowflake schemas
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC

Good to Have
- Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure, or AWS
- Exposure to Python scripting or automation
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
