We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Estimator / Quantity Surveyor with 5–12 years of relevant experience in estimation, quantity surveying, billing, rate analysis and cost management for civil, infrastructure, building and public works projects.

The candidate should have solid knowledge of PWD/CPWD Schedule of Rates, DSR, SSR, specifications, measurement procedures, BOQ preparation, rate analysis and contractor billing, with the ability to independently prepare estimates and billing documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, quantity take-offs and cost summaries.
- Prepare detailed estimates from architectural, structural and engineering drawings.
- Carry out quantity calculations for civil, structural, architectural and finishing works.
- Prepare rate analysis for scheduled, non-scheduled, extra and substituted items.
- Work with PWD/CPWD DSR, SSR, Schedule of Rates and departmental specifications.
- Prepare and verify RA Bills, final bills, measurement sheets and quantity abstracts.
- Verify executed quantities against drawings, BOQ, specifications and site measurements.
- Prepare variation/deviation statements, reconciliation statements and cost impact assessments.
- Assist with tender estimates, tender BOQs, cost comparisons and bid analysis.




- Review contractor bills and supporting documents for accuracy and contractual compliance.
- Monitor estimated, executed, billed and balance quantities for cost control.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, consultants, contractors and site teams.
- Maintain proper records of estimates, measurements, rate analysis, approvals and billing documentation.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of quantity surveying, estimation and rate analysis.
- Excellent understanding of BOQ preparation and quantity take-off.
- Knowledge of PWD/CPWD DSR, SSR and measurement practices.
- Experience in RA bills, final bills and measurement documentation.
- Good understanding of construction materials, methods, labour, machinery and market rates.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- AutoCAD knowledge for reading drawings will be preferred.
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred QualificationDiploma / B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

- Experience in government, PWD, CPWD, municipal, infrastructure, institutional, commercial or large building projects will be preferred.
