About the Role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer – Estimation who will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, understanding drawings and specifications, calculating material requirements, and coordinating with the Sales, Design, Purchase, Production, and Project teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Study project requirements, BOQs, drawings, layouts, and specifications.
- Prepare accurate material and cost estimates for modular kitchens, stainless-steel furniture, wardrobes, vanities, and related products.
- Calculate quantities of SS sheets, hardware, accessories, glass, ceramic, profiles, fittings, and other materials.
- Prepare and review BOQ/BOM as per project requirements.
- Calculate material consumption, labour, fabrication, finishing, and other project costs.
- Prepare quotations and estimation sheets based on project requirements.
- Coordinate with the Design and R&D; team for drawing and technical clarifications.
- Coordinate with Purchase and Production teams for material rates and manufacturing feasibility.
- Check vendor and supplier quotations and compare prices.
- Maintain estimation records and update material/rate databases.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or specifications.
- Ensure estimates are prepared within the required timeline.
- Support the Sales/Project team with technical and commercial information.
- Visit the factory or project site when required for measurement or technical understanding.
- Maintain proper documentation of estimates, revisions, and approvals.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Mechanical Engineering fundamentals.
- Ability to read and understand 2D drawings and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
- Good understanding of MS Excel and estimation sheets.
- Knowledge of BOM, BOQ,



material calculation, and costing.
- Basic understanding of sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing processes.
- Good mathematical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Educational Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Preferred Experience Experience in sheet metal, modular kitchen, furniture, fabrication, stainless steel, interior manufacturing, or similar manufacturing industries will be preferred.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
