We are hiring an Estimation Engineer to support our tendering and costing function. This is an entry-level role suited to candidates with 1–2 years of experience in estimation, quantity surveying, or costing in a manufacturing or construction products environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and price proposals based on architectural drawings and door schedules
- Cross-verify quantities between drawings, BOQs, and sales orders
- Maintain and update rate databases for doors and hardware
- Coordinate with sales and procurement teams for scope clarifications and vendor pricing
- Identify scope gaps and flag discrepancies during bid preparation
- Support the sales team with quick-turn estimates for pre-bid enquiries
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, or Production Engineering or equivalent
- 1–2 years of experience in estimation, costing, or quantity surveying
- Experience in doors, facades, steel fabrication, or building products preferred
- Ability to read architectural and shop drawings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of hardware components (closers, locks, hinges) is an advantage
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Tally, or SAP) is a plus
