About the Role

Skyline Infraworld Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Estimation Engineer with strong exposure to architectural, building, construction and infrastructure projects.

The candidate will be responsible for handling pre-tender and post-tender estimation activities, including quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, rate analysis, cost estimation, tender evaluation, comparative statements and post-tender commercial analysis.

Candidates with prior experience in an architecture firm, architectural consultancy, construction company, infrastructure consultancy or PMC will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs and quantity take-offs based on architectural, structural and MEP drawings.

Handle complete pre-tender estimation, including:

Quantity take-off

BOQ preparation

Rate analysis

Cost estimation

Preparation of abstract estimates

Review of drawings and specifications

Identification of scope gaps and discrepancies

Handle post-tender estimation and commercial activities, including:

Analysis of contractor quotations

Preparation of comparative statements

Evaluation of quoted rates

Rate comparison and negotiation support

Analysis of deviations and variations

Review of revised estimates

Assessment of cost impact due to design/scope changes

Study and interpret architectural, structural and service drawings for accurate quantity calculation.

Prepare estimates using applicable CPWD, PWD, DSR, SOR and market rates.

Prepare and review BOQs, rate analysis sheets, tender estimates, cost comparison statements and commercial evaluation documents.

Coordinate with Architects, Structural Engineers,



MEP Consultants, Project Managers, Contractors and Tender Teams for clarification of quantities, specifications and scope.

Review contractor bids and identify rate variations, exclusions, deviations and commercial discrepancies.

Maintain proper documentation of estimates, BOQs, quotations, rate analysis, tender submissions and revisions.

Assist the management and project teams in cost planning, budgeting, tendering and commercial decision-making.

Required Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.

3–7 years of relevant experience in estimation and quantity surveying.

Strong preference for candidates who have worked with an Architecture / Architectural Consultancy / Construction / Infrastructure / PMC company.

Candidates with hands-on experience in building projects, institutional projects, government projects, infrastructure projects or large-scale architectural projects will be preferred.

Experience limited primarily to interior fit-outs or small residential projects may not be suitable for this position.
