Role Description The Estimation Engineer role at Irama Studio is a full-time, in office position based in South Delhi.

The Estimation

Engineer will prepare detailed cost estimates, quantities, and BOQs for ongoing and upcoming projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing drawings and specifications, conducting rate analysis, coordinating with project and design teams, and updating cost databases. The role involves evaluating vendor and contractor quotations, supporting negotiation processes, and ensuring estimates align with project budgets and timelines.

Engineer will also assist in project planning and provide regular estimation reports to management.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong BOQ preparation and project estimation skills.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Civil Engineering and applied construction knowledge.
- Candidates should possess effective negotiation skills for dealing with vendors and contractors.
- Candidates should possess strong research skills for market rates, materials, and cost benchmarks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Previous 4-10 experience in estimation or quantity surveying in construction or interiors projects is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel AutoCAD, estimation/quantity take-off software.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and time management.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly in written and verbal form.
