About the Role

ARC Test House & Consultants LLP is seeking an experienced Estimation Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, quantity take-offs, BOQs, rate analysis, and tender documentation for a range of building and infrastructure projects.

The role involves working closely with architects, engineers, consultants, and project management teams to ensure accurate cost planning and estimation throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and BOQs for construction projects.
- Review architectural, structural, civil, and other relevant drawings for quantity estimation.
- Prepare rate analysis based on DSR/SOR, market rates, specifications, and project requirements.
- Analyze tender documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
- Prepare and review BOQs, cost sheets, comparative statements, and tender documentation.
- Assist in project budgeting, cost planning, and tendering activities.
- Evaluate quantities and rates for materials, labour, equipment, and other project components.
- Coordinate with design,



engineering, procurement, and project management teams.
- Identify discrepancies, variations, and potential cost implications.
- Maintain accurate estimation records and project documentation.
- Ensure estimates are prepared accurately and within specified timelines.

Project Experience Required Candidates should have experience in estimation and quantity take-off for one or more of the following:

- Residential Buildings
- Commercial & Institutional Buildings
- Industrial Projects
- Roads & Infrastructure Projects
- Stadiums & Sports Complexes
- Other large-scale construction projects

Required Skills

- 2+ years’ hands on experience in Estimation and Cost Analysis
- Strong knowledge of Civil Construction Estimation & Quantity Surveying.
- Excellent understanding of BOQ Preparation and Quantity Take-Off.
- Good knowledge of DSR/SOR, Rate Analysis, Market Rates, and Specifications.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation-related software.
- Knowledge of tender preparation and evaluation.
