We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Estimation Engineer to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate should be a with robust knowledge of AutoCAD, excellent mathematical skills, and the ability to prepare accurate BOQs, cost estimates, quotations, and material calculations for interior projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Study and understand architectural and interior drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Read and interpret interior project BOQs accurately.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and quotations for interior fit-out projects.
- Perform material quantity take-offs and material calculations based on project drawings.
- Analyze project requirements and estimate labor, material, and other project costs.
- Coordinate with procurement and project teams for pricing and cost validation.
- Maintain estimation records and ensure timely submission of quotations.
- Support project planning by providing accurate cost and quantity information.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1–3 years of experience in estimation, quantity surveying, or cost estimation (freshers with relevant skills may also apply).
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of interior fit-out projects and BOQ preparation.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Ability to visualize and interpret technical drawings.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and cost calculation methods.
- Strong visualization and drawing interpretation skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
