Job Summary
We are looking for an Electrical Estimation & Costing Engineer responsible for preparing accurate estimates, BOQs, costing, and technical proposals for electrical projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects.
- Prepare BOQs covering electrical materials, cables, switchgear, lighting, and allied items.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Calculate material, labour, equipment, and installation costs.
- Obtain and compare quotations from vendors and suppliers.
- Maintain updated material and market pricing information.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals for tenders.
- Coordinate with project and business development teams.
- Support pre-bid meetings and site visits.
- Track actual project costs against estimated costs.
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in electrical estimation and costing.
- Good knowledge of electrical materials and systems.
- Experience in BOQ/BOM preparation and pricing.
- Knowledge of electrical drawings and specifications.
- Good understanding of Bangalore electrical market/vendor pricing is preferred.
- Robust analytical and communication skills.
