About the role

•Manages the functional aspects of the SAP S/4HANA landscape, ensuring ERP capabilities effectively support business operations and strategic objectives.

•Leads the DSC ERP functional support team, providing direction, coaching and governance to ensure functional services are delivered efficiently and consistently.

•Drive adoption of emerging SAP capabilities, including automation, analytics, AI-enabled business processes and SAP Business Technology Platform services, ensuring value is delivered while maintaining Clean Core principles.

•Collaborates with Digital leadership, Enterprise Architecture and business stakeholders to ensure ERP capabilities align with enterprise strategy, architecture standards and operational requirements.

•Provides governance and oversight for ERP functional design decisions, ensuring solutions are scalable,



supportable and aligned with SAP best practices and Clean Core principles.

•Ensures ERP solutions comply with corporate governance requirements, including SOX controls, audit requirements, segregation of duties and Digital standards.

•Oversees demand management activities and ensures business requirements are translated into effective functional solutions and delivered through approved governance processes.

•Supports project delivery, acquisitions, divestments, integration programs and business transformation initiatives impacting ERP capabilities.

•Ensures functional changes are appropriately designed, tested, released and supported to minimise business disruption and maintain system stability.

•Represents the DSC ERP functional team in change governance processes and supports effective management of business risk, change and operational continuity.

•Provides input into budgeting, workforce planning, vendor management and service optimisation activities relating to ERP functional services.

•Aligns with managed service providers and delivery partners to ensure agreed service levels, support processes and operational outcomes are achieved.

Skills & Experience

- 10+ years of experience in SAP ERP functional consulting, solution delivery or ERP service leadership roles.
- Demonstrated experience leading multifunctional SAP support and delivery teams within complex enterprise environments.
- Solid experience with SAP S/4HANA process integration and end-to-end business process design across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain and Asset Management functions.
- Experience managing ERP demand, enhancement portfolios, functional roadmaps and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience developing business cases, functional designs and solution governance artefacts.
- Strong understanding of SAP Clean Core principles, ERP governance and enterprise architecture practices.
- Experience working with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP cloud solutions and integrated enterprise applications.
- Understanding of SOX compliance, audit controls, segregation of duties and ERP governance frameworks.
- Experience managing service providers and vendor-delivered ERP support models.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across business and Digital functions.
- Strong analytical, commercial and problem-solving capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Systems, Engineering or related discipline.
- SAP certification or relevant functional certifications desirable
