About BeaconCaps

BeaconCaps is a SEBI-registered Research Analyst entity, part of the Beacon group. We're building research that doesn't compete with generic broker coverage — our focus is SME-listed companies, differentiated IPO diligence, and governance/forensic-driven insight on main board stocks across large, mid, and small caps. Research here is diagnostic and data-led, not opinion-based buy/sell coverage.

What You'll Do

- SME Research — build financial models and governance-linked scorecards for SME-listed and pre-listing companies across issuer, retail, HNI, and institutional segments; maintain quarterly result trackers and peer benchmarking notes
- IPO Diligence — produce forensic reads of DRHPs/RHPs (related-party transactions, use-of-proceeds, litigation, promoter history), track subscription and anchor activity, and run post-listing accountability checks at 30/90/180 days
- Main Board Analytics — build the firm's differentiated analytical products: Earnings Quality Scores, Governance Trust Score tracking, cross-cap relative value maps, smart-money (promoter/institutional) tracking, and MD&A; tone/sentiment analysis across annual reports — output as scored diagnostics, not investment recommendations




- Primary Diligence — conduct management meetings, site visits, and channel checks, particularly for data-scarce SME and unlisted names where public information is thin
- ESG/Governance Integration — work directly with Beacon's ESG ratings team to embed governance and ESG inputs into every research product, rather than treating them as a separate add-on
- Compliance — ensure all published research meets SEBI Research Analyst Regulations, 2014, including disclosure and record-keeping requirements

What We're Looking For

- CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA (pursuing or completed), or equivalent.
- 2–5 years in equity/credit research, investment banking, or forensic/governance analysis; exposure to SME, unlisted, or pre-IPO companies is a strong plus
- Solid financial modelling and valuation skills, with genuine comfort working from thin or incomplete disclosures (a defining feature of SME and unlisted research)
- Interest in going beyond standard ratio analysis — comfortable reading footnotes, related-party disclosures, and MD&A; narrative for signal, not just headline numbers
- NISM Series XV (Research Analyst) certification mandatory — can be completed on joining, ideally before

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
