We're looking for an In-House Equity Research Analyst to join our research team.
Who we're looking for (minimum eligibility):
1. CFA Level 2 cleared (Level 3 candidates preferred), or
2. CA Intermediate (both groups) cleared, with articleship completed
3. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce or Economics
Applications that do not meet the minimum qualification will not be considered.
What you'll do
1. Research companies top-down (sector, macro, competitive landscape) and bottom-up (business model, unit economics, management).
2. Read, interpret and analyse financial statements, including notes, related-party disclosures and cash-flow quality.
3.
Map business models and build financial models and forecasts for revenue, margins and earnings.
4. Track and analyse quarterly results and annual reports.
5. Attend management conference calls and write the key takeaways.
6. Review and summarise brokerage and analyst reports, and form an independent view.
What will set you apart:
1. Relevant experience in equity research, investment banking, audit or financial analysis is a plus
2. Robust Excel and financial modelling skills
3. Clear, concise writing (research notes, earnings updates
4. A real interest in Indian equity markets
